What are Standards and Best Practices?
They are guidelines (i.e., Web Standards, Web Content Accessiblity Guidelines (WCAG), and Section 508) to follow in ensuring that products such as websites, documents (PDF and PPT) and social media are usable and accessible to widest possible audience. Techniques and/or standards-based applications vary when applying to products, but the result ends the same.
What are Web Standards?
W3C established Web Standards guidelines for creating usable and accessible websites for all users, technologies, and search engine crawlers. Web Standards basically require for high quality of XHTML markup and CSS files. Utilizing Web Standards will provide:
